Brett's Birthday (5/11/09)

Monday was Brett's 12th birthday. He first requested lasagna for his class treat. After I vetoed that one, he picked dirt cups (crushed chocolate chip cookies, chocolate pudding and Cool-Whip mixed together, and gummy worms). Brett chose Chinese food for dinner. With crazy schedules, it was easiest to call the Chinese Pagoda and order our food to go. We had a nice time visiting with Grandma & Grandpa.
Kyle and Ella came over for a while. Ryan is away, and Lisa had band rehearsal. Ella had fun playing soccer in our backyard and listening to Logan read her a story. She treated us with a story as well (Dr. Seuss' Hop on Pop)! Kyle sat on my lap eating an apple. Then he watched a movie in our bedroom for a bit.
